The Torn Journal: Entry IV

I am nearly half-way through my journey and my companions seem to be eager to follow me even after all the way they have travelled. So much has happened on our way, from funny things to that what could have cost us lives. But the lands that could have been called safe for any reason are now behind. Tomorrow we will cross the border of the Frozen-Wastes of Forochel and it will be the most dangerous land that we will pass through and even spend some time there. I am worried for the hobbit, she seems to be not ready to move to such cold lands. It is not like The Shire or Bree-Land.
Anyway, it's not only matter that troubles me right now. It seems that something is troubling Gondorn while he stays around us. I can sense it and now that he left with no explanation, most likely leaving me alone with my troubled thoughts. I do not know what to think about it yet. At least I hope that he will return home safely. I do not know if or when I will see him again.
Well, we will start moving through Forochel soon. I hope to deliver the message to the chief as soon as possible then leave my companions in a safe place. Who knows, maybe I will just stay behind and begin a new life there. It seems to be a good place for one like me. I was there a long time ago and enjoyed my stay there, even if the weather conditions were hard to stand. This is what I was born for, isn't it?
I should now get some rest If I am to keep myself and everyone safe during the journey, no one knows what lies ahead...
