["To Master Vagnur" an elf bowed and handed rolled parchment which had seal with picture of what looks like a fountain on it. After that he holds small bundle and offers it too with courtesy nod and steps backwards a step. "Hir Fealivril asked me to bring you these as soon as our crafters had finished that", he nods towards the bundle and bows quickly and is already on his way.
There is something hard but lightweight wrapped in fine, silky, turquoise cloth. Once removed it on its own is a quality cloth that could be used in creating something or as a decorative cloth. What was hidden in it is silverish elven tankard. Similiar to what can be seen at Imladris along with other glasses and mugs. It has an embossed pattern of a tree on the opposite side of handle. Unlike in other similiar tankards this one has thumb-size and shape clear white crystal which looks like those crystals used in lanterns but this one does not radiate light. It is recessed on the side of tankard. Another addition is newly carved shapes: a row of mountains has been carved to go all the way around the tankard and behind that image of the tree. Also handle has elvish words carved to it.]
Once the letter is unsealed and opened it says:
“To Master Vagnur, my friend:
I wished to give this item as a parting gift but artisans weren't yet finished my order by the time our fellowship had to leave. And naturally I couldn't order the carvings to be made earlier since word for my journey came not too long ago.
What you have there you might have seen around tables of Imladris for they are brought with us refugees from Eregion where they once were made. At that time these were made for dwarves of Khazad-dûm to be given as gifts or to trade for them hence the dwarven look they have. (Dwarves tend to drink more ale than wine so tankard were better option for them than wine glasses or did we get that right?).
I didn't want to give just any vessel but to personalize it so I took it to be carved. You might get the reference to lamp crystals there but together they also represent the colors of The Order of Fountain, something to connect it to me personally too. You might already have translated the writing too: “To your health elf-friend”.
Good byes are already said and I want to end this letter in more sunny notion and wish swift return and reunion.
Fealivril”
