The man indeed came out to be Gondorn, one of the ones friends. H has joined the group and they moved again towards the Evendim. And as they moved the surroundings were starting to become less foggy. Soon the road to Evendim was visible before the four, and so were the ghosts 'guarding' it. Both Katrandil and Ornessar 'killed' the evil guardians off then the travellers finally moved towards Evendim.
Galad looked at the sky, knowing that the night will fall soon. She decided to take a break in the camp nearby. But first they needed to pass into Evendim. "Evendim Gate... finally."- She said more to herself than to the others. "I sure hope this is the way" - Suoma said after a moment. Finally the group proceeded further into Evendim, soon reaching the camp that Galad thought of earlier. "We will make a stop here." - She said after a moment.
They entered the camp, but as soon as they did, the woman walked away from the group, peering into distance, towards The Nenuial Lake. The hobbit and the elf followed her, The man stayed by the tents and sat down by the fire. "I'm starting to have enough of these ghosts!" - Suoma shouted while looking into distance. The Forngarmo then moved towards the camp in silence and sat down near Gondorn.
"Still foggy..." - Suoma said still peering into distance. Ornessar followed the hobbit's gaze and nodded. "It's gonna be foggy for a while." - He replied and continued to watch the surroundings. Katrandil remained looking into the fire, saying nothing. She also was watched by the man that was sitting by her side. "But in times of bad sight I'm glad lord Ornessar is with us with his ears to see stone falling at the shire that is!" - The hobbit cheered at the Elf Lord. Then the two joined their companions by the fire, Ornessar and Katrandil were chuckling at Suoma's words. The hobbit looked towards Gondorn then, inspecting him a bit. "how do you know the queen?" - She asked him and the ranger chuckles again as she gets called a queen. "We've known eachother for quite sometime.." - He answered and then Ornessar looked towards his ranger-friend. "Since my first journey to Rivendell..." - The Forngarmo added then turned her attention back to the fire. Then there was a moment of silence, the four remained silent for a while, hearing the crickets around and enjoying the warm night in Parth Aduial. Suoma glanced again at the woman then at the man. " Well she is a fine queen I give you that, you're lucky to have her as an old friend that's for sure!" - She cheered with a smile. The others smiled as well at her words then Katrandil decided to speak. "Well it is nice to be here with two of my closest friends..." - She answered then fell silent again.
Then there was another moment of silence before Suoma spoke again. "I sure hope those ghosts are behind us now" - She said, hoping that the Oathbreakers will not scare and haunt her again while they will move through Evendim. "Almost." - Katrandil and Ornessar said at the same moment. The hobbit then looked at Ornessar. "Elf lord, you said something there were stories why they haunt?" - She asked him, recalling their conversation about the undead from earlier. "They and the ruins are all that remain from the battle of Fornost, many years ago. These are oathbreakers, Wild-Men that betrayed fornost to the forces of Angmar" - The Elf then started the tale about the battle of Old and the city-ruins the travellers visited not long ago. Suoma kept listening to the Elf carefully. She then asked if they were evil men and waited for the Elf-lord's answer. "I do not know, yet they serve the evil now. It was an important battle. A battle between the forces of King Earnur and Glorfindel, against the evil of Angmar. It is said that even hobbit-archers took part in this battle." - He replied looking at the hobbit.
Suoma was amused by that, she felt satisfied by hearing that even hobbits took parts in that important events. Katrandil then stood up and looked at them after a long while of silence. "I am sorry to interrupt such important stories but I think I am going to get some rest before we depart." - She said towards the others then moved to one of the tents to have some rest. Soon Gondorn followed her and took another tent. The others remained by the fire for the rest of the night. Singing and talking about many things.
