It seems my luck has taken a wrong turn. I just met with Stanric of Stangard and he notified me that they can not help me with taking down the brigand camp. Not yet. They are with too few a man.
This news is highly unfortunate for me. The Brigands keep a close eye on who crosses into and out of the Wold and shall ambush and attack any individual travelers such as myself. The only way I will get across that bridge is if I sneak past it at night. Even then I am still in a very dangerous position but I do not have any other options.
I must get across. I must get to the wold... If I don't then I can't pass into Gondor.
I would have taken the Gap of Rohan but that would mean getting close to Isengard and such is a risk I rather not take.
And so this is the path I must take into the next bit of land. Into the Eastment.
If I do manage to pass successfully then I can finally continue my journey towards Minas Tirith.
The idea of having to enter the city still makes me feel uncomfortable. Eyes always focus on the stranger afterall. I must keep a low profile. If they find out who I am then the enemy may try to prevent me from getting those documents.
I don't know what is written in them but if Halbarad requires them then I must see to it! I can not let my friend down.
I should plan my next steps.... Very carefully..
