I have not seen Eoryn in a while, I do hope she is well. Although Thryll assures me she is fine. It would seem that Eoryn is taking lessons from Thryll. Drawing, reading, deportment. I think it will be good for Eoryn's confidence to learn these things. Sometimes she can be quite shy, other times quite bold, at times she can be quite childish, at other times quite mature for her age. She is a very interesting mix of characteristics.
As for Thryll, I finished her dress and have given it to her. She is so happy, it is lovely to see. That Bearn seems such a good man, almost as good as my John was. I was invited to their house for dinner. They have a lovely home, very comfortable and roomy. The dinner was excellent, Bearn's cooking is to be highly recommended. We spoke of many things. His search for the girl was successful, though she had been wounded. At least she is safe now it seems. How wonderful to have friends that will search for you when you are in trouble. I hope she appreciates it. The talk soon turned to pleasanter subjects. Yet even as I laugh with Thryll and Bearn, enjoy their company, I cannot help but feel alone. My dearest John, I miss you still. It has been less than a year since you were taken from me, yet the pain has not lessened. I feel the only thing that may ease it at all is to bring the culprits to justice, yet I am thwarted at every turn in this. I must find a way for my own peace of mind.
