The sorrows of war

You asked what I know of war? I shall tell you....

I have stood knee in mud and bones and filled my lungs with poisonous gas.
I watched many of my brethren fall.....
I have been stained with the outcome elder wars and been confronted with the inevitable wipe-out.
I have guarded camps full of refugees and the sick...
I have murdered men and orc where the grounds never thraws and starved myself into the name of what was left.
I saw childs shadow burned into the brickwork... A pile of skulls in the woods
The innocent ones, young one, they have been trod and bled and gassed and starved and beaten and murdered and enslaved!
This is what war has brought us young one. The orcs. They will hunt us down and will make try to murder us all.
They will burry their snouts into our chest and eat... out.... our.... hearts..

So we wander in the dark and outside of towns where it is upon us to stop this....
We must make sure that that which was created by evil, never endures.
And when all the light has faded, when night comes with burning fire, when the cries of pain comes from the innocent. When all towns have been destroyed and all men have been enslaved, only then young one, have we failed.
And so we must wander in the darkness so we may provide the light for those who are entitled to it.
That is what I know of war....
That is the burden you and I and all of us must walk with.
That is the darkness before out eyes that we must see, the pain we will be confronted with and the sorrow we must endure. So that others may live a life we can only dream of.

So ask yourself...... Will you take the responsibility of war as well?
