| Kinship |
| Outward Appearance | Physical Appearance Wilrrick, as an older man of Rohan, and former Sperewigend and Færendas in his younger days, has all of the marks to prove it. He is found most comfortable in the saddle, and he bears many marks of the battles he's been in, most notably a scar crossing over his mouth. He walks stiffly, though still stands strong and carries himself with the pride of the Rohirrim. His hair is grey and scraggly, hanging loose and unkempt, with a full scruffy mustache and sideburns of the same colouring. His eyes of deep blue carry much wisdom and sorrow, but also the humor that keeps a warrior's spirits high. He is most often seen wearing light armor of leather and perhaps mail, but can also be seen in full Rohirric plate, depending on the occasion. Personality Wilrrick is a crusty old man and can be a bit prickly when you first meet him, but too most he is warm, kind hearted, and full of humor to lighten the mood, though depending on the circumstances he can be found mopey and downcast, mumbling to himself. Often times he can be heard making excuses for lapses of attention or understanding regarding the 'deafness' in his right ear. Or is it his left? One can hardly tell, and it is widely viewed among his kin that either he is putting it on as a joke, or that both ears have suffered from his age. Or perhaps his brain? He is definitely an odd character to come across, but when he isn't goofing around or milking his old age card for all it's worth, he speaks rather well and carries himself as though he was in the presence of the King. Formal manners and speech are well within his ability, though laziness often drives him to mumble and speak with slang. |

Background
Rohan
Wilrrick was born in a small village near the Gap of Rohan in the Westfold. He had such an attachment for home that he was not only raised there, but lived the majority of his live, and retired there, much like his closest friend, Erogline, Father of Talvor. Growing up with a histroy of warriors in the family, Wilrrick and Erogline took no other path, not even considering the alternatives. As soon as they was old enough they joined up and became Sperewigend. His talent for scouting due to his childhood spent in the fields and hills caused him to stand out and he was thus promoted to Færendas, where his friend remained Sperewigend, serving as heavy cavalry.
His life in the Rohirrim was what he had always dreamed, but many times his position got to his head, and he and his comrades spent many a drunken night with farmers daughters, though never the same one. Though he now regrets his looseness, he finds himself thankful for the experience of the past, and now attributes his strong sense of loyalty and honor to the lack of it as a younger man.
During his time as a Færendas, the Dunlendings had continually harassed Rohan as they had always done, but in one instance in particular, a horde of Dunlending warriors threatened to invade Rohan, and Wilrrick's Eored was dispatched to cut them off at the Fords of the Isen. It was there that they made their stand, on foot rather than in the saddle, with a solid shield wall. Many men fell, but ultimately the Eorlingas were victorious, and Wilrrick found that both he and Erogline survived. Wilrrick still has dreams of the battle, remembering it as one of the fiercest he had ever been in, recalling the faces of his fallen comrades, and the fear that coursed through him.
After serving for the majority of his life in th cavalry, he eventually married and retired in his home village where he started a farm of his own along with Erogline. The two lived peacefully, and though Erogline never has children of his own, his friend's son Talvor became like a nephew to him.
Sadly, this peace did not last. Eventually the village was attacked by orcs and burnt to the ground. Many were slaughtered, including Wilrrick's wife, and all of Talvor's family. The two made a last stand in the village center but ultimately fled, running to the west without any other choice. The two split up after reaching a nearby wood, hoping to shake their pursuers. Wilrrick never saw his pursuers or Talvor again, and assumed him killed.
Breeland
In sorrow and regret, Wilrrick made his way to Breeland where he found a job as a hunter. He worked hard, trying to bury the memories of what happened, but lived on. He spent years hunting in the Chetwood and set up a camp in the south where he lived, and at times can still be found.
The Færende Eored
Without any warning, Wilrrick stumbled upon the Warrior Kennia outside the inn of the Prancing Pony one day, discovering that she was the Mægisterwigend of the Færende Eored, a company of warriors in search of Eorlingas to train as riders and bring back to Rohan in hopes to defend it. He was tired of his life, then, and hearing the dire news, elected to join the Riders and resume his duty as Færendas. During the retaking of his oaths in the Meadhall of the company, Wilrrick found Talvor, quite alive, and a Bældwigend in the Eored. The two were overjoyed, of course, and now serve side by side as Wilrrick had once done with his Father.
