Old and wise

A small glimpse into the future. Here we see what might become of Atharan, son of Arandir.
After the war Atharan returned to Minas Tirith. Wounded from the battle of the black gates he laid in the house of healing for a week.
When he was healed once more he of course watched his chieftain receive the crown of Gondor and with that he became King.
Atharan would be asked to join Aragorn in Gondor but at first refuses as he wished to travel north at least one last time.
And so he was ordered by the King to return to Minas Tirith in three years to recognized the offer.
Atharan would travel for three years, meeting old friends and living finally without secrecy before he would return to Minas Tirith, where he would join the ranks under the command of the king and eventually climb his way to a seat at the council of Gondor. Here he would help lead the forces of Gondor against roaming orc tribes that were left after the great war.

In this picture you see Atharan as an older man of around the 200 years old. He has lost an eye about thirty years ago when a raid on a bandit camp did not completely work out as planned. This however never stopped him!

((This is not what will happen to Atharan ''Sigfread'' son of Arandir. This is merely one of many roads that may lay before him!))
