Most elves tend to hate Wargs. Today I learned that is not true. Most elves greatly dislike Wargs, and Hilumrekja HATES THEM. I have never seen him so angry or so full of hate. He went into a rage and killed at least seven of them, a whole pack. We are using the old Numenorian ruins the hound had been staying in as shelter. I ran off to fetch water while Hilumrekja calmed down. When I returned, he had me pulling the bones from the carcasses, and teeth. Door making more weapons or tools I imagine.
My red tunic is too noticeable in the Lone Lands, or anywhere really. Hilumrekja stayed up all of the previous night making new clothes for both of us out of hides. He even gave me a bone knife! I'm slowly learning what is good to eat, and what is not. Frogs and toads and wolves are only things to eat when desperate. I have taken to scavenging rhubarb and blueberries. There is not much else to eat here. A majority of the local fauna consists of Wargs, Half-orcs, spiders big enough to kick, tarkips, crebain, goblins, did I mention spiders? I had no idea the Lone Lands were like this. Before now it was only a place on a map I had never seen. I figured the Numenorians were fond of it, it cannot be all THAT bad....I was wrong. It has spiders. I hate spiders. Why did it have to be spiders? Why could it not be butterflies??
