Suspect: Name unknown. Male, about six feet tall, large, balding.
Crimes: Sexual assault, brawling, resisting arrest.
Victim: Bretthera Willowdye.
Location and date: The Prancing Pony, January 10th and January 14th.
Summary: While on patrol, I was called into the Prancing Pony on the evening of January 10th because of a brawl in progress. There were three people involved, a pair of cousins and the suspect. The cause of the brawl, according to onlookers, was the suspect groping and hitting a woman. The victim, miss Willowdye, was not involved in the brawl, others had stepped in in her defense. During the confusion after breaking up the brawl the suspect slipped away. I spent the rest of the evening looking for the man, without success.
Four days later, on the 14th, the suspect came into the Prancing Pony while I was there off-duty. The victim was also there and pointed out the suspect as soon as he walked in. When I tried to restrain the man he resisted and started fighting. Constable Hale came into the tavern then and helped me subdue the suspect after a scuffle. When we got him down to the jail the suspect had fallen unconscious as a result of the blows to the head he received when resisting the arrest, courtesy of Constable Hale.
Other notes: Confiscated two daggers from the suspect to be returned to him on his release January 28th.
Signed,
Recruit Thornwell
