Father, Thank you again for your words of advice, it was good indeed to see you but most of all I am very gratefull for your wisdom. I now know what I must do and my heart is truely glad. I truely like like Lady Amorith a great deal more than I expected or realised and though these things are new to me, it feels very natural. I shall seek her out and honour her, she is a dear and true friend.
Mirkwood has been a challenge, the orcs are bold and cunning alas there is much evil here. I have seen much courage from our kin and allies alike, the battles have been fierce and bloody but we are prevailing. Some more good news father, Lord Anglachelm is rumoured to be returning, nothing is confirmed or for certain but such news has brought joy to the house of Vanimar.
Also I have been bestowed a great honour, to head up the Order of the Arrow, though I feel I lack the experience and skill I have been assured it is good and right, so I will put my all into this task.
