The battered woman was dragged from her cell towards certain death. She barely put up a fight, but she tried her hardest. Kicking and screaming and scratching every chance she got. One of her arms was mangled, it had been crushed under her and Brigwald's combined weight after falling from a low rooftop. Since then, it had been crudely bound by a Watcher. So that arm was out of commission. Her other arm was weak, she had been confined to her cell for the past month. Forced to reflect on the acts that would inevitably lead to her death. She had attacked Brigwald and another Watcher at the Pony. She escaped once, but her inability to simply not engage the First-Watcher after that lead to her arrest, and then to her death.
Two Watchers, Mandic and another, dragged Lesila outside with Geoffin following close behind. The sky spat down rain at them, thin droplets of water made her hair appear greasy and made some of the dry blood run again. She was done fighting, she was defeated. The men through her onto the chopping block, and held her down. But it wasn't needed. She wouldn't have fought them anyway. Brigwald, her captor and now killer stood over her begrudgingly, sentencing her to death and asking her for any last words.
"The Watch is corrupt as ever. Killing me won't change that."
There was but a moments pause, perhaps the First-Watcher's way of making sure that was all. Then the fluid sound of a blade swinging through the air and towards her neck. She didn't feel it bite into her skin, she didn't feel her head roll onto the grass to stare lifelessly up to her killer. She didn't hear Brigwald order Mandic to put it on a spike and host it above the Northern Gate. But now, she keeps watch there. Whilst slowly rotting away.
