Diary,
Yesterday was the big day! Tim and I are finally married. Oh it was amazing! Basaran did the ceremony, him being a captain and all! Rin, Taala, Eroforth, Fal, Rashnu, Dani, and Blackspear were there. I wish more could have been there but I wasn't surprised, it was such short notice.
Ero gave Tim and I candles to carry during the ceremony, which added a beautiful element to the ceremony... oh it was amazing! My heart felt as light as a cloud! The ceremony was short, and to the point but I don't care. So long as Tim and I are married I don't care.
I will write the vows down here, so that I can always find them should I forget. Mine was:
"You lift my spirits like a soaring eagle, and make my heart race like a wolf. This comes from my love for you, and though I leave tomorrow, not a day will go by I don't think of you. I won't ever stop loving you Tim. Not till the last tree falls, the last star fades, and the last river runs dry. My love breaks all barriers, distance or death will be only a bump in the road. I will love you always."
Tim's was:
"I have been fortunate to find happiness and love again, in a time when I thought that it was not possible to find such a thing as love, but all that changed the day, in the old forest when I met this amazing woman, Katnya. Directly at first sight and after the talk we had after,she had lit something alive inside me but I wanted to be sure I was right. This amazing woman means everything to me, she gives me the strength and the energy to live without her by my side, I would not manage to get through the day, she is worth more than anything else in this world of Middle Earth for me. And thus I give this pledge to the Katnya. I, Tim Dundring here promising to love and protect Katnya, with my life, my sword and my shield. To always be there with and in adversity, to be her support and shield in adversity. To love her as she loves me until our days are over."
This only made me love Tim even more, if that is even possible... It saddens me to leave him so soon but I must. So today is the day. I said my farewells and headed off onto the road home. Back to family, home, and the edges of Mirkwood.
