Tales of a Dalish Tailor - Page 114

Dear Diary,

I have been back in Bree for some time, now. And I feel it appropriate to finally write about some experiences on the trip I took with Torr... well, one is more important than most of them, I should say.

The trip went very well, nothing major happened, which I am glad for. Well, nothing major in a bad way, I mean. There was one major thing that happened which is very good, something that makes me feel so elated, so excited about what will come later this year.

Torr proposed to me. Asked me to marry him, that is. He'd said he'd spoken with Papa, and received his blessing. I am happy to say that I said yes. I had wondered, before he asked, if there was a future for us, and I am also happy to say that there was.

It was amazing, though quite unexpected. I did not know when he would ask, but... I am glad he did. I'd only felt that happy when... when I was finally free from the fear Odel would bring me back into the world I'd left behind to pursue a happy, fear-free life.

Well, I am still very happy. And very excited; Torr and I have agreed to have our wedding in the Winter, at this festival that takes place yearly. At least it still provides time enough to make my dress, and plan out other details, such as how many guests and the catering and things of that like.

I... suppose this was all I wished to write about. I thought I wished to write about other things as well, but it seems not... Oh well.

It is still an amazing thing.
