The third day began calmly. I awoke in the Chamber of Crossroads due to the noisy dwarves who were trying to fix one of the wheels that broke off a wagon.
On the other side its best that I woke, I had another journey ahead of me and I did not want to waste to much time.
Moria is beautiful but I rather be out in the woods again... open plains and grasslands.
I grab a quick bite of Lembas bread and went out. I hoped to see so much between the road and my desitnation...
Ooh boy... what a day it would be.
I left the Chamber and took the first set of stairs I found. The dwarves told me it was a long road towards the 21 hall of Moria but I was sure I would be able to manage it. After all there would be so much to see!

Ooh... how I was mistaken
The first problem came rather quick. There were barely any crystals to light my way. It was very dark and I often stepped into a deep pool of water, or managed to hit my toe on a large rock that was sticking out somewhere.
Then there was the second problem. I forgot to bring any carrots to keep Aronath calm. Poor thing was stressed out beyond belief.. but he had to stay strong, I could not miss him, especially not after we would leave the mines. I needed him in Rohan more then anything!
And then there was the third problem, and probably the most annoying one of all....
There was absolutely nothing interesting about the entire road at all!
It literally was just a one long curvy road that never changed. No spectacular buildings nor any grand halls. Just the road....
I walked for hours and thought it would never end!

I walked and walked... hours on end. There was no sight of my destination anywhere!
At some point I sat down and broke off another piece of Lembas... not only for me but also for Aronath. He had to eat....
I sat down alongside the road an thought of having a quick nap, though after twenty minutes the hallway became rather noisy.
Dwarves!
More dwarves!
I don't mind them but fighting a goblin every now and then would at least save me from the boredom.
None the less I had someone to talk to. I walked up to the caravan of dwarves and asked them where they came from. They were a group that was heading to Dolven-View to pick up supplies for the main camp within the Twenty-first hall of Moria.
They told me I was actually really close it it!
This of course was joy to my ears and I hoped back on my feet within a flash!
Quickly I took Aronath and thanked the dwarves.
I walked with a high pace and a good feeling for about half an hour until, I reached the gate into the Twenty-first hall.... My.. what a sight.

In the far distance I saw the light of the main camp. I heard the echoes of many dwarves down in the hall and made sure to rush towards them!
I was so happy to finally be at one of the great halls of Moria that I heard so much about.
Once I came into the camp I quickly found a place to leave Aronath and went right to the dwarves for information. I told them how I thought about the hall and such.
They just laughed.
'"My boy!'' one of the older ones said ''This is merely childs-play compared to the second hall!''
I knew my road would eventually take me there but... none the less I was exited.
If even the dwarves praise it over this one, then it must be amazing!
Tomorrow will tell, for now.. rest an food. Stories alongside good drinks!
