Meeting

It had been a few days since he had returned to the empty house for the first time, Milcroft were now sitting in the Inn of The Prancing Pony talking to the lady Catilyn as a man comes walking up to the table and leaves a note, Milcroft knew what the note said and he did as he was asked on the note and met with Caithrin outside where they both talked and decided that Mil were coming to see their son Roycroft in a few days. The days passed on as Milcroft recived a letter from Caithrin with the new adress of where she lived and he went there

"So it was I found myself traveling beyond the borders of Bree once more..and travelled to meet with Caithrin and my son. I did not expected to be welcomed in a good way as I let my steed walk up the path to the house..I was not surprised that I was not warmed welcomed, the man she has now seems to be somewhat overprotective..I do wonder if he gets it that there might be a few things me and Caithrin needed to talk over but all he said that I was there to meet my son and nothing else..

It was good to see Roy once more..he had grown since last time..It gave me a stinging feeling to know I will have to see him every now and then when I am allowed it seems..I do have only myself to blaim for that and as I told Caithrin, I was not there to argue nor to make her take me back but I wonder if it seemed like that..We did have a little talk before her new man stepped in and told me to leave..but he needed to talk with me before I left so I gave Roy back to Caithrin and whistled for my steed and moutned up and urged the man to speak..not unexpectedly he began to try and lecture me in what is right or bad and that he did not hated me as person but hated my actions..I replied perhaps a bit harsh but I told him that if he knew half the story he would probably be more careful with his words and that I did still loved Caithrin and Roy whereever he liked it or not..

I had no chance to tell him that I was not there to take her from him but he seemed to be in disbelief of my entire meeting as he just turned his back on me and walked off and shut the door behind him..So I urged my stallion into a light trot as we made our way from the house. At least I knew that the woman I have a special place for in my heart and my son would be safe, and what I fool I was to let it all pass through my fingers with that stupid action..I do hope to see my son again yet I do not think I will be allowed..that man..there is something about him that I do not like..I can not put a finger on what.."

So Milcroft rode back to Bree, in deep thoughts the entire way, wondering if he would see his son again or not and stepped into the Inn and took a seat in the back and lit his pipe and wandered off in his thoughts before he left not long after for the house he had rented.
