I am sitting in my quarters in Imladris, Tinuvinil is in a room nearby. O, how my heart danced as I saw him, just in time for the gathering in the Hall of Fire. I had so hoped he would be able to come, but could not be too sure, as I know Edhil from all kins are to report in for duty and set forth to the Greenwood. I feel that something great and fearful is on its way and it worries me to know that many of my friends are out there. Tinuvinil has been granted leave, he is to stay with me for a couple of days here in Imladris and for that I am so thankful, a day without him near is like the night without stars. Oh, here I go again.. being all sentimental, alas, it just comes, for it is how I feel.
We shall make the most of the time that has been given us, I am quite sure that he will have to, aswell as so many others, report in for duty and cross the Anduin. It is with great reluctancy I think of it, I worry so for him.. But if it is the wish of the Lord and Lady, who am I to speak against it? O, Tinuvinil..
Hîr Andarne has already crossed the River, he sent me a letter quite some time ago, explaining the matter at hand and also asked me to see to his dîs, Malliel, who is with child. Of course, I cannot deny him that wish, I will be sure to spend time with Malliel, my Sister, if not in blood, then in spirit. She seemed to be in a good spirit last I saw her, at the gathering, smiling and practically beaming in her expectancy, how beautiful she is, Malliel.
I also met hiril Nimlith again, was a great pleasure seeing her. I will be sure to attend the gathering she spoke of, if fate allows. I so enjoyed it the last time, singing, dancing and just apprechiating all the living things we see around us, the fruits of Yavanna.
I also got acquainted with Amorith, a beautiful Elleth who plays the harp so splendidly I found myself to forget my surroundings for a while. Her music made me think of what has been.. and what's to come.. and what is now. She seemed to enjoy my singing, she complimented me for it, and I thanked her kindly. I am glad she found it to her liking. Maybe one day I shall get the honour to sing along to the tunes of her harp.
I shall rest my quill now for I do not wish to keep my love waiting for me. I will be sure to write again soon..
