While on patrol, I was approached by a woman who later identified herself as Cheyse, daughter of the retired watcher Tholorast. Cheyse explained that she had witnessed something that she believed needed to be reported. I asked if she wanted to discuss the matter somewhere private, offering the jail house. Cheyse accepted my offer and once we reached the jail she explained that she had witnessed an assault. The transcript of her statement is attached. One point of specific note in the statement is the use of the name ‘Hog’ by the assaulter as this ‘Hog’ was already known to the watch. ‘Hog’ was known as the leader of a band of thieves operating in Merchants Square, however it now appears he is more just that. Perhaps, the head of some sort prostitution operation, but whatever the case he is obviously more than just the leader of a few petty criminals.

What I saw was, a man.. A man who, caused a scene out in front of the pony, gawking some girl - I didn't catch her name. Her dad ended up chasing her off. They were all part of the Bloody dawn, is all I know.. Anyways.. I later found the man, in the Stone Quarter - Beggar's alley, and he was man handling some woman…But anyway.. I went back to the main square for help, but it didn't seem like anyone was around.. I tried to get some, mercenary fellow.. Another Dawn member.. To come take a look, but he wasn't interested.. I went back, to see if she was alright. I heard the man shout at her about.. Uhm.. Well he worded it bluntly.. But it was something about her sleeping with a captain, and how she needed to be giving a cut to a guy called 'Hog'.. I picked up something else then about having her, 'steal from their house' but I'm not sure whose house they meant. A dwarf ended up interrupting them.. A crazy dwarf, who kept shouting about stones.. But the girl pretty much dismissed the whole thing, despite having been manhandled, and shouted at. So.. I can only guess she's not exactly an innocent party. I think that's all I can recall.. I know that the girl was short, with long, matted brown hair.. The man, I don't remember well.
Do you know the names of any of the other parties involved? Such as the dwarf or any of the Dawn Members?
Uhm.. I don't know them by name, no, but I recall what a few of them looked like?.. The girl, she was young.. Probably mid teenage. Her hair was brown, and she was well dressed - She was accompanied by her father, another well dressed man, with a goatee and short hair. He'll probably know the most.. I know that he described himself as a thug, and that he's a member of the Dawn..Oh! And, he was accompanied by his nephew, as well.. I don't recall hearing him speak, so I didn't pay much attention to him. But, If I recall, he had a greatsword, and a fair bit of armor.
