Middle of Narquelië 3018 T.A. , Stewards Reckoning, Redstable
Many days have passed. My mates of the Red Company arrived sooner than expected. It was a rainy day, but we couldn't be bothered and started with our quest. First we informed by the mayor of the Shire. But he couldn't tell us much and looked even uninterested. The only clue we got was to look in Hobbitton, for there the plague appeared for the first time. Once we were there, we got aware of spreading pies. Assuming one of the ingredients would be the cause to infect all of the Shire, we asked after the ingredients. Many ingredients the cook summed up, and be it due to the nature or because it wouldn't have been fresh, we suspected mushrooms the most. This track led us to Bamfurlong where we began to investigate. We noticed all the grown food was poisoned including the water. Ancthan, one of our marksmen, found a strange stone. This stone had strange cohesive powers, but also spread a chill amongst members of the Red Company and hobbits alike. Therefore, we carried the stone as artefact and evidence to our home in RedStable for further investigation. We are actually just arrived now, but this has a strange outcome. I didn't expect this, but we shouldn't forget that we still have to heal the hobbits and find the culprit. I now store this report in one of the bookshelves of our home.
