Briannon lied on the cold dusty stones of the tomb, completely lost in half-life, while listening drops of water in distance, repeatedly reminding how her mouth are dry, as if someone filled her mouth and tongue with sand. She opens her eyes but sees nothing but darkness, relived that wights have left to to die in slow pain she smiles, tightly grabbing her belongings to her chest, shivering.
Woman fell asleep again, and suddenly she was woken up by sound of falling stones and man voices deep and far away.
- "You! Are you alive?! " - a voice of man ringed trough the tomb, behind the rock slide that cut of her from the exit.
- "Told you that you are imagining things, howls in the nights and women shriek. Its the Barrows. Lets leave until night has fallen." - other one said with clear fear in his voice.
- "I am sure i heard a scream, a women scream from here." - other said. She hears rock moving from other side with a lot of heavy sighing and panting.
- "Anyone there?" - he shouted again with strange accent in his voice.
Briannon tries to turn and pull herself up on elbows then to lean her back on the stone wall, she opens her mouth to reply but so dry she barely could mutter out something.
- "H--e-ree." - not nearly enough.
- "Told you there is no one but ..terrors you can not harm, I know this lands Folke, this things ..can deceive you." - said the other man while they continue to pull stone by stone off te passage.
Briannon wanted to scream, so close to life and freedom. Without mustering a loud voice she takes a small iron made lamp and tires to throw it toward the corridor from where sounds and voiced came from. Lamp rings trough the room loudly even weakly threw just few feet from where she was sat.
- "Hear that?!" - other man said - "There is someone living!" - he shouts again - "We are coming to you! Rhyson pull it up, lets remove this big one."
Did it take so long or it just seemed to her but she stared at the darkness intently until she saw first break of torch light trough fallen rocks, and than a face of two men waving to her and throwing her water and food as far as they managed. A hope raised in her, and heartbeat went faster, she felt her limbs again as part of herself. She crawled to the food in the weak light, and with shaking hand opened waterskin and drank it almost all, water oozed down her chin as she couldn't keep it still. Out of great hunger she just rested her head on stone and ate lump of cheese and bread like that..drinking water between bites as it was hard for her to swallow.
- "Thank ...you.." - she whispered out few times and closed her eyes. Fed and without thirst she fell asleep putting all her trust at her saviors, who ever they may be. Last she heard was stones moving and falling not so far from her.
