This letter is written on fine parchment, in an elegant and flowing script. It bears an ornate seal depicting an embossed mallorn flower surrounded by two golden leaves.

To Lord Ambassador Parnard of Bar-en-Vanimar, Greetings.
Your esteemed service to our allies in Imladris has not gone unnoticed by those in power within the Greenwood and Lórien. It is heartening to see that one of our own kinsmen has so capably served such a house as yours. And I send your Lord Anglachelm warmest greetings, for the news of his rescue from the Tower of Sorcery and restoration to lordship is not unknown to us. In times such as these, it is more imperative than ever to strengthen the bonds which lie between all Eldar, that we may stand united against the Shadow in the East which threatens the lands we love and hold dear. I ask you therefore to remember your allies in Lórien and the Greenwood, and the assault we are waging upon the stronghold of Dol Guldur and the corruption spreading thence to all the Greenwood.
I do not delude myself in believing the assault an easy one, but I and my advisers share the well-founded hope that it shall succeed. Though victory is not in reach by any means, skirmishes upon the eastern shores of Anduin have been mostly successful, and our forces push eastward toward that fell fortress with every passing day. We have captured several outposts formerly taken by the Enemy, and have posted our own forces there to keep better watch upon the lands. I have also received salutations from the halls of the Elvenking in the north, saying that the lands around his dwelling are yet hale and well-defended, and that he may yet send a detachment of his own forces south to join us.
I send this letter in the care of Lieutenant Aicalion, a faithful retainer of Lórien who has served his Lord and Lady long and well. He has been released from his duties in the Golden Wood for a year of the Sun, to be of use to you and your House as you see fit. May you see the fortunes of Bar-en-Vanimar prosper, and your own with them. And forget not your kinsmen to the East who are now entrenched in a war against the Shadow which has long haunted these lands. There is yet hope within the Greenwood, but it lies in the hands of us all.
May Elbereth preserve you and your House, and the light of the stars ever guide your paths.
