Attention Rhyva! This case will merit your personal attention if what the victim says is true. While relaxing at the Pony, a woman entered with a dog who had obviously been mangled. The pair immediately accosted a man near the door. At first, the argument was purely verbal, but soon it came to blows. It was at this point that I stepped in to break up the fight and assess the situation. The lady claimed that the man had recently attacked her dog but would not give much information beyond that. Eventually I managed to calm them down and separate them.
Townsend was nearby so I had him question the man while I spoke to the woman. However, the woman refused to speak to me at first. With no evidence and no formal charges, I had Townsend release the man (who claimed to be innocent of any wrong doing, saying he had been in Bree for months). Shortly after, the woman approached me once more, apparently now willing to discuss the matter at length. Below is the evidence she presented:
- Many moons ago, Priya claims to have attended the wedding of Anadryt and Rhiannon in Threstlbridge with her boyfriend Seia.
- Several Bree locals apparently attended this wedding including Martie Magpie and several others. Though Magpie was the only one mentioned by name.
-The victim stayed late after the wedding at which point she, Seia and the dog were attacked because Seia was a "man of the East". Both human were left unconcious and in bad shape, the dog was stabbed in the head.
-The victim claims that Rhyva herself came looking for her when she disappeared and led the manhunt to find the attacker, only to come up empty handed.
-Victim says that this man in the Pony (Styrk) was the man who attacked her that night. However, there is nobody else who can ID the man, as she has not seen Seia in a long time.
Given the personal connection to the boss, I figured she would want this information as soon as possible. The girl seems fairly certain that this Styrk character is a danger so I think it best if we get this settled quickly. Rhyva seems like shes going to be the star witness on this one...
