Diary,
Having been recruited to The Bloody Dawn by Skelcar yesterday, I had yet to meet anymore members till I saw someone walk past with one of the sigils. This happened to be Piperel, Gorlen's partner. I went after her, where I spoke to Gorlen and Dristin. Dristin had a plan to catch the Stone Quarter Bandits, so we headed to the Dawn Hall to hear it.
Between you and me, I feel he over thought it but at the same time didn't think enough. It was an overly complicated plan, involving Gorlen stabbing Piperel to distract the watch. Quite creepy and sadistic to make Gorlen do it, let alone the concept of stabbing her at all if you ask me. I would then carry her to the Watch and try to weasel information on the bandits from them. Then we would use this information to hunt the bandits, while the watch are distracted by Piperel and me sending them looking in the wrong area as they would "get in our way."
Did he take into account that Piperel's brother is apparently in the Watch so she can just probe him? No. Did he consider that the Watch wouldn't interfere as they have put a bounty on the bandits? He completely ignored Piper when she gave him the poster.
When I suggested that we send bait down their known haunts with back up to jump the bandits both Gorlen and Piperel agreed it was the better idea and I'm no tactical genius. I felt it was quite simple rather than stabbing people all over the place. All in all I made two friends and an acquaintance I'm not sure about yet.
