Looking back on Nelnardis' history, this report is of the first task she was asked to do by the Warband of Imladris in order to become a full member of the Warband. This Report can be found in Lord Elrond's Library.
At the latest Kinship meeting, Tahjun spoke of a task in which Lord Elrond had entrusted him and some other members of the Warband of Imladris, involving searching for the Silithar to reforge a sword for Aragorn son of Arathorn. However the tomb where it lay was flooded and only with the help of Gwindeth, who thankfully lowered the flood waters, could the Warband enter the tomb.

Tahjun, Caleniel, Torrian, Loray, Aewiel and myself gathered at the ranger camp in Tinnudir to meet with Calenglad who give instructions of how to get into the Tomb. As soon as we entered, however, we were faced with our first difficulty. The thieves about Evendim had also realised the flood waters had been lowered and had quickly gone inside to plunder the Tomb.
They endeavored to stop us, wanting the treasure in the Tomb for themselves leading many of them to be slew that day. The Warband eventually made their way steadily deeper into the Tomb without finding any trace of the Silithar and there were more vile things down there than thieves. Tomb crawlers and Kergrim had even slew some of the robbers, leaving corpses scattered. It was a disturbing sight. Although the Warband continued to fight valiantly and move on further downwards. At last we came to an opening in one of the tunnels leading up to worn steps, however the thieves had beaten us there and were waiting for our group, readying themselves for a battle. The woman leader spoke to us, offering to give some of the treasure if we joined her, nevertheless she was to be stopped for her crimes. The Warband defeated her gathering of thieves and we made our way up to where she stood next to a large statue of stone. She mistakably attacked us and was slew.

It was in that next moment that the Lady Gwindeth saw it fit to appear, bringing information of where we could find the Silithar. She explained the waters had carried it into the depths of the Tomb and revealed to us the way unto finding it. However Gwindeth gave us all a firm warning, that the Nornagol should not be awoken unless it was of our will to feel its wrath.
We followed her through and she led us to a small drop in which the final tunnels lay. Once we had jumped we had no choice but to fight the Kergrim who were keen to destroy us also. Finally we reached the place in which we were to find the Silithar… and the Nornagol.

Not one of us were keen to step forward lest we awoke the giant creature, however we had to think of a plan in which to advance. We could not let down Lord Elrond. We prepared for the battle, hoping that we could slew the large Kergrim without waking up the beast. This was folly. The Kergrim fought for a moment before deciding he would not last long against our swords and arrows and began to cry for the Nornagol. The beast arose and began its great and terrible wrath against us, even calling for its kin to attack.
But of course, the Warband prevailed and we all fought with all our will and might against the terrible Nornagol until it was slew. Tahjun claimed the Silithar from its resting place nearby and the object has been taken back to Lord Elrond in Imladris.
