Aeo grunted as his head bounced off the iron bars of his cage, but the smile never left his lips, that was what set the beatings off now, the smile that never left his face. at times he would laugh, but only when one of the fools was dumb enough not to chain his hands to the floor.
His memory had starting to get fuzzy, he was having trouble remembering Pups face, Mynna, Mila, Azzy, Taala, all his close friends, everyone he had ever met. even what his own reflection looked like. a times the pain in his head was overwhelming, forcing him to curl up on the floor and silently sob as the faces of those he cared about faded from his mind, and slowly he started to give up on remembering them at all. his head bounced off the bars again and he let loose with a howl of anger that turned into a scream of rage as he kicked out at the man with both feet, shattering a knee cap and pinning him to the cages floor as the fool hit the ground, he had gone one to many times, and he had to pay for that, Aeo jumped on him, but with the way he was bound it was more of a fall, but it was enough, he saw his target and sank his teeth into the mans throat, ripping a part out. before spitting it at his friends, his blood stained smile the only thing visble past his matted and tangled hair as it hung infront of his face."Come on, one more, who else wants to die?" he taunted them, laughing after.
That was where his fun ended. they closed the cage door, leaving him with the body, he kept looking at it, before pushing it as far away as he could, laughing softly,"Three in a week, someones going to get in trouble." he called as the door at the end of the room closed behind them, he knew from the last two times what would happen, more threats, another talking too, then more beatings, he didn't care, if anything it made him laugh harder, they had no idea what he would do if it meant escape.
His master came a few hours later, looking at the body with a slight shrug."What will we do with you, I can't break you, I can't sell you in the state you are in, always smiling and laugh when you get your hands one one of my men. atleast it saves me a bit of coin." he grinned a bit and tilts his head. before walking over to the cage, kneeling down infront of it, his red robes stained with blood."I suppose we will just have to kill you eh? as much as I dislike the idea, whats the use in having you around." this statement surprised Aeo slightly,"Kill me?." he snorted softly, his mind still forming a reply as he thought about how they would kill him."You can try, but I'll end you first before I die, this time I'll make sure you stay dead." he smiled, showing his teeth before howling with laughter. shifting his weight a bit to strain the bolts holding his shackled hands to the ground. he smiled as they started to give, but stopped. and waited, biding his time."Take your time in comming up with some flashy way to end me, It'll be fun to watch you fail."
A small glimmer of fear in the mans eye was all the satisfaction he got before the man spun on his heel and stalked off, the smile never leaving Aeos lips as he watched the man go. he glanced down at the chains and grinned."Shoulda killed me when you had the chance, now I'll kill you with the chains you put on me...prick." a soft chuckle and he was sitting again, watching the door as he had for the last 2 weeks.
