A small notebook, the first page.

It has been some time since we returned from the last trip.On our way back, I stopped in Bree to visit with my family for a few days. Oh,I had missed them more than I was willing to confess to myself. To finally see my Father and Mother, all my brothers and their wives and their ever growing families.I had also become an aunt again, for the..hmm..I don't even remember how many children there are now.But there is many! It was nice seeing them again, but after a few days I realized that I longed for the stillness at the house and the company of the other Wanderers, so I bid my farewells with the promise to return as soon as I was able to.On my way out of town I took the opportunity to say hello to my friends at the Scholars, and purchased this leather bound book.Something to write in while idle.

I have only been at the house a few times so I tend to enter rather carefully, not sure if there are rules to follow or rooms where I cannot dwell. They do have an excellent collection of scrolls and books, which immediately drew my attention as soon as I set foot inside.

I couldn't help myself, I just had to take some books of the shelves to look through them.

While doing this, I once again saw Eredian, a man from Forochel, that I had taken a walk with the other night after some sparring. We had talked some that night, but it was brief when night fell upon us too quickly and I felt the bedroll call my name.

This time I got to spend some more time with him, and he sure is an interesting man, not to mention patient!

As per usual, questions about his homelands and their customs poured out of me like a river in spring! He patiently answered all of them, and after that conversation, I sure hope that I one day will be able to see the wonders of that frozen land with my own two eyes!

Of course, lands like that offers more than beauty, and danger seem to be present there in a different form than we are used to here, but with the right travel companion...

He seems to be a nice man, and I look forward to talk to him again. I already have questions forming in my mind. Not a surprise would those say who knows me!

I even got to sparr a bit again, next to Yorva and Arthesdir. This time I had to see myself beaten by Eredian, and by a very clever move , I give him that. I only got to call myself a winner for a day, after having won a sparr against Fiontann the night before.

I had to admit, it was a nice day indeed, and many thoughts went though my head as I laid on my bedroll, reminiscing it before sleep caught up with me.
