As You Are

You're not perfect
No one is
I know I'm not
I won't pretend
I've got my flaws
And so do you

I have my good
I have my bad
I can be happy
Can be sad
I won't pretend
I'm any better.

Despite it all
No matter what
I carry on
I'll hold my hand out
For you to take it
If you want.

Through think and thin
No matter what
I see the good
I can't do anything
Except accept you
As you are.
