Entry 8

I woke up in a place I've never waken up before.  It startled me at first when I found soft blankets around me and a vast hall around me.  Although, suddenly I realized it was Mushroom's and Diamond's hall thing.  I must have fallen asleep here last night.  My stomach still feels warm and full from the various foods Mushroom gave me.  He was very sweet, and apparently a wonderful cook.  I also met some of their friends.  I will call the younger man (at least I assume he's younger) Smiles.  Just because I think the entire time I was there he was smiling.  No matter who he was talking to.  I love those cheerful people, Mr. Journal.  I think the world needs more of them.

The hall itself was something to behold.  The ceiling was high and the decor was beautiful.  There were foods and wines and all sorts of stuff scattered about.  And posts!  I really wanted to climb one, but then I decided that just talking to me alone can be awkward.  Me climbing a pole probably wouldn't help.  I left this moment, I don't think I saw anyone when I did.  Right now I'm sitting here in a meadow with you.  Such pretty flowers.

You know what, you can't see these flowers and that's not fair.  You can't smell or feel them either.  So guess what, I'll describe them to you, Mr. Journal, and I'll draw them for you.

I love watching flowers on a calm morning.  Before it gets too warm and the breeze can gently brush against anyone or thing.  The flowers always seem to sparkle when the light of the sun reaches out and touches them.  The dew eventually drifts off, but I like dew.  I enjoy sitting in it, smelling it.  The smell of the meadow is so much alike the smell of a forest.  Although not fully the same.  The flowers have a sweet, soft scent.  The scent that makes pretty women smile.  The forests have dark, deep scent.  The kind that makes a deer dance or a rabbit leap.

I like forests better than flowers personally.  And I love rivers, lakes, ponds, so on.  Water, I've always loved water.  When I was a little kid, I use to just sit on a shore and stare at the water, or get a cup of water and swish the liquid around.  I loved watching the movement of water and the ripples.  Nothing is more calming save for trees.  Nature itself is the most calming friend of all.
