Can not sleep

The night was still young, the owls were quiet, everything was quiet. Fengdiel woke up, her face twisted by the burning pain in her shoulder, the paste that the healer had applied to sooth the pain had dobe its job for now. No matter how she tried she could not fall asleep again. Suddenly she thought of Arrowea, why she did not know, "Arrowea" she said quiet for herself. There is something to him she thought, something that she wants to know more about, he seems to want know more about me as well, Fengdiel thought for herself. "Can I? Am I ready to let him come close to me? Can I tell him about myself, he seems to be a man who I can trust." she said quietly for herself.

Was she ready to let him come closer, perhpas close enough to break the wall she had built around her as a form of defence, Fengdiel did not know, she hoped that she could let him into her life but it was of course up to him, then she remembered how he did not recoil nor did he move his hand from hers when she took it with her nimble hand, he stood there and took a hold of her hand as if he wanted to hold it, then his words echoed in her head "Hard to catch" he said when she had asked him why he was alone yet there he stood with her, letting her take his hand, that could not be right she thought, you cant be hard to catch if you let someone take your hand like I did, she thought. Fengdiel made her way out of her tent, the moon was now fully visable and the rain had passed, she took a deep breath and exhaled slowlywhile she looked around the camp, all the tents were closed but by now she know where people slept, she smiled for herself anf started to walk a little, "Might as well do that since the pain keeps me awake" she said quietly.

Fengdiel walked around the ruin until she saw a figure on the wall. At first she thought it was one of the orcs from Ost Cyrn, the place she, Arrowea and Thurrin had been sent to spy on and see wjat was in the making there, yhe orcs..in large numbers and with carts but they did see what was in the carts. Everything had gone well up to then..they had to fight their way out, thats when she got the wound that was now causing her problems to sleep. Seeing Arrow there, she walked up close to him and sat down and smiled to him "Problem sleeping Feng?" he asked her and she nodded in reply and said "Yes Arrow..the pain from the wound is" He looked at her, being hood of sneaking he had gone ahead and had not seen her and Thurrin fight to get away. "May I take a look at it Feng?" his question chocked her and she stumbled in her reply "Y..y..yes.." and she un uttoned her robe and pulled it down so he could look at her shoulder, feeling her own cheeks turning red as she knew she was blushing but he did not seem to bother so with that, his words rang again from earlier that day when she had been with him and Anriett to wash themselfs and swin a little " Nothing Ive not seen before.." she wondered what he thought of her now, but before she could ask, he was finished "It will heal within a few days" he said, she nodded in reply not saying anything else as she buttoned up her robe again.

Just after doing so she moved as close as she dared and to her surprise he did not back off, his arm slid around her and she looked at him and they sat there and talked a good long while about her nightmare and so, until she fell asleep on his shoulder.
