Background

Overview:

The Beggars of the Alley is a criminal organization with the simple intent of making absurd amounts of coin. The structure consists of a traditional monarchy. The leader of the organization is known as 'The King of Beggars' and those under him take that quite literally. They have no intention of taking over Bree. Their coin is made by performing various jobs but mainly from a 'tax' in which most, if not all, criminals are aware of in Bree. The tax guarantees the protection of The King of Beggars if paid (both from the law and other criminals), those who don't pay it are deemed 'enemies of the crown'.

(Note: From here on out this is OOC information only.)

Structure:

King of Beggars: Self explanatory. Whomever is in this position makes all the final decisions and bears the responsibility of leading the organization.

Council: The Council is a group of four high-ranking members who are charged with counseling the King as well as running the day-to-day operations in their respective elements of the organization.

Members of the Council:

Master of Finances: As it sounds, the Master of Finances is in charge of managing all of the incomes and expenses of the organization. They are also in charge of safeguarding the coin, and punishing any members who attempt to steal or otherwise cheat the organization of it.

Master of Whispers: The Master of Whispers is in charge of all of the organizations spies and informants. This means placing them, managing them and, if the time comes, terminating their employment. They are also in charge of making sure no members of the organization spread information and punishing those that do.

Executioner: Not exactly as it sounds, the Executioner is in charge of managing all of the organizations violent attacks or assassinations. They rarely have to do these assignments themselves but, depending on their skill and how comfortable they are with the task, they might. They are also in charge of the discipline and punishment of all these members in the organization.

Steward: While the Steward does retain the duties of a traditional steward, they also have more exciting duties. They are also the King's personal guard and are in charge of the general safety of everyone within the organization.

Commonwealth (Members):

Assassin: This person's job is to take on the task of killing various people in Bree. No small degree of discretion is desired. Reports to the Executioner.

Spy: Gathers information at all hours of the day, as well as taking on specific jobs to learn specific information. Reports to the Master of Whispers.

Vendor: Sells stolen or taboo items on local black markets. These people must know their way around Bree's darker corners. Reports to Master of Finance.

Enforcers: These people are charged with the enforcement of the King's law to all of the 'Commonwealth'. They may have to go to extremes on occasion. Reports to the Steward.
