A Story about the Discovery of their friends Heritage
Khalis had not put pen to his journal for many weeks after that gathering, he had left that night feeling very unsettled. His companion from Rivendell the Lady Elisbeth had left the gathering he belived feeling frustrated with the turn of events that hand unfolded. Himself he had seen matters unfold and it seemed they were cascading down a path on their own.
He would watch and see what would become of this woman they said was a Wytch.
Since that time their help had been called upon a fair number of times by their friends among the Silver Blades. One such time was with the man known as Tzel, a Hunter of much skill. He was asked to investigate some strange happenings around the Trollshaws so his own pathway fell neatly in with our own in that area, for the Trollshaws lay along the great western road.
Its from helping Tzel in the Trollshaws that Khalis and Elisbeth later learned of his own personal quest to discover the truth about his family and past.
Several new members have come unto the Silver Blades over these last weeks as well. Khalis and Elisbeth did their best to make them feel welcome offering their help wherever & whenever it was called upon. One of those Ridaran the pair felt unnaturally attuned to for reasons they could not understand.
Khalis soon was on the great western road back to the Breelands in search of information that could help Tzel learn more about his father and his past.
Elisbeth also headed to the great western road but took the road east to Rivendell to meet with her old mentor Nystal.
As the chronicler of their saga i know not the exact details since the pair took different paths that day. But Khalis was seen by those i later spoke to quietly speaking with many around Bree and the surrounding hamlets. One such conversation brought him into contact with a man often seen around Breeland ,who was spoken of with respect and also a trust but also an air of caution. That man travelled by the name of Amlarad.
At the same time Elisbeth in the company of Tzel travelled with speed to Rivendell where they met up with her old mentor Nystal. An elf of some long years who had developed a passion for books, knowledge and a desire for the quieter life in the pursuit lore.
Nystal agreed to help them look into Tzels heritage and the strange oddities that Tzel had discovered about himself that marked something unusual down his family line.
A few days later Nystal informed them that the clue to his heritage must lie beyond the Valley of Imradis. They would need to look into the past activities of Tzels' father perhaps for more clues. This would mean travelling beyond the warm, safe wall of Rivendell something which Nystal wasnt keen to embrace but he also seemed excited at the prospect of solving this mystery. So the Trio set off to Breeland, gathering a few of Tzel's friends to accompany them on the often dangerous roads.
On arrival at Thorenhad there was a message waiting for them from Khalis. It simply said the ranger Amlarad will meet you in the Inn in Combe, and that he may be of help.
The ranger did indeed have news of Tzel's father and also his past. To explain more he told them he would have to show them something. He took them to an old place whose past like Tzels had been forgotten my many...but not all....
[OOC- A big thankyou to all those who helped bring to life some of Tzel's past. And also to those who accompanied him on way along his story.]
