The Last Homely House
I'm so glad my Lady sent me to Rivendell. When I arrived to the Gates of Imladris I stopped there and my eyes widened while I was staring down the Vale. Never seen such a beautiful place. I felt the peace and kindness in the air, took a deep breath and took my way to the House of Lord Elrond. I smiled and felt happy myself as always. I love my homeland, Lórinand. That place is so beautiful as well, but Imladris is so different. I know I will enjoy my stay here.
I arrived to the House and stood at the entrance, I was scared a bit, because I needed to meet with the Lord.
I entered into the House with a lot curiosity in myself. I looked around slowly and walked closer to the statue in front of me, turned around and looked up. The top of the house was opened so I would clearly see the stars on the sky. That all made me smile more and I tried to find someone who would tell me the way to the Library.
I walked to the first floor and looked around there too. I kind elven lady asked me to go to the second floor, where I can find the Library. I did as she told me. When I walked into the Library, I was so surprised how imposing is it. I felt the scent of the old books around me and I can't wait to read them, to learn from them and to know more about that beautiful place. I tried to find the Lord there, but he wasn't around. I decided to discover the House more before he comes back and I could speak with him about my task.
I went back to the first floor and found a big door at the back, when I opened it and stepped out, my heart started to beat faster. 'Oh what a lovely balcony' I walked out and looked down to the river. There was a waterfall back to the house and I would see the mountains around. I stood there for some time and fell into my thoughts a bit.
Someone just came out after me to ask who I am. I felt myself a bit bad, because I just walked around the house freely, but he was so kind and showed me another lovely place in the House, The Hall of Fire.
I tasted some red wine there, was so tasty and so different from ours back to my homeland. We talked some and walked around the Hall.
That was late night this time and I needed to sleep somewhere. I got a room in the House for the night. I hoped I can meet with the Lord next day.
I wanted to take some notes about my arriving so I decided to go out and sit down by the river to write a letter to my Lady. I took a slow walk around the house and went to the back, sat down and started to write my letter.
