Contract of Patronage between the scribe Nyr and his patron Nalbur Irontooth

This is an older contract of patronage written and signed by Nyr and Nalbur. It is written in angerthas moria and concerned one of their earlier dealings together before they became good friends. In it, Nyr is referred to as the chronicler Azadrud and Nalbur as the patron who will confer upon him a monthly payment of 5 silver coins from the day the contract was signed by both parties till the day the moon is of similar shape and season. So it is valid for exactly one year, no more and no less. In that time, Nyr serves as a chronicler to the Irontooth family, residing at the Irontooth homestead in the Blue Mountains. He is charged with writing a complete work on the family of the Irontooths, including ,but not excluded to, the deeds and words of its members and that of their forebears.
