We were on patrol they came out of nowhere... It's so cold. I think I'm the only one of my unit to survive, perhaps there are a few stragglers about but the horses got scared. My foot was caught in the stirrup, I'm grazed up and bruised, I have a cut on my head but I have to keep going. This cold will not do me any good hopefully I do not have anymore injuries.
I have to find shelter like a cave or something and then start a fire getting warm. After that I'll sort out my injuries and maybe find some food if I am able.
