Sleeping in Hay

There's a few things I've learnt, sleepin' in haystacks. Ye'd not think a body could learn much from somthin' so simple, but ye'd be wrong. Here's some o' th' things what I learnt from doin' just such -

  1. Haystacks are a fine place t' hide, if'n ye ain't wanting t' see or be seen by someone.
  2. Haystacks make ye taller than all th' other folk - very useful if yer short like meself.
  3. Haystacks are a good place t' curl up, when the winds are cold an' th' snow's flying.
  4. Haystacks are also good fer burrowin' in, should it be rainin' out.
  5. The bigger th' haystack, the better t' see th' stars by. An' that makes them easier t' count - well mostly easier.

Th' most important think I learnt though, is t' always - always - keep yer bloomers on when yer sleeping in a haystack.  Else ye might find hay stickin' in strange places when ye waken. (*blushes*)
