Rumours from Elven Lands

It is now widely rumoured in elven lands that Galendil, Tûr of the house of Vanimar, has left his kinsmen unexpectedly and mysteriously. It is said that Veryacano, a guardian who is known for his short temper and ruthless nature, has proclaimed himself Tûr in Galendil's stead and has taken upon himself the lordship of Vanimar. It is known in Falathlorn and Imladris that Galendil the Wise was proclaimed Tûr by Founder and Lord of Vanimar, Anglachelm, to act as steward in his absence before he departed on a long journey east, in search of his long lost sister. Veryacano on the other hand is known as a valiant soldier of countless battles and as Lord Anglachelm's loyal bodyguard for many long years. He is known to be fiercely loyal to his lord and his kinsmen. But although he is of high rank among his kin, due to his nature, many elves are suprised by these news and are curious of how one such as Veryacano came to the lordship of the house. Will the new Tûr prove to be a diplomat? Will he lead his kinsmen to war against the enemies of the Eldar? Or will he quietly await the return of Anglachelm as the rightful lord of Vanimar? Only time will tell...
