The time has come.... Once more shall I ride north, but this time it is different.
This time I shall join the front ranks!
It all started not long ago when an old friend of mine came to me at my campsite in the Old Forest on the edges of Buckland. He told me of the state of Annuminas and I knew I could no longer wait. It had to be done....
I packed up my gear and rode to Ost Barandor. There I took what I needed from my main camp, readied up Aronath and Fang and I started walking towards the Shire.
Luckily for me I was not more then a few hours away from Brandywine bridge.
I passed and soon saw the joyful faces of the hobbits that made the shire their home. I briefly stopped at an Inn not far from the Brandywine bridge to gain information on the northern road towards Bullroarer's Sward. They told me it was not to dangerous since the Goblins that lurk along the north road have been mostly taken care off.
I thanked the hobbit and walked on... Eventually when darkness came I bound Aronath to a tree and made the moss around it my bed for the night.
The next morning I awoke to the chirping of birds and the laughter of kids playing in the warm morning sun.
As I looked around I noticed that I had fallen asleep not far from the town of Brockenborings.
I stood up, untied Aronath and went onwards.
In Brokenborings I bought some bread knowing the north road would be a long one. And a long one it was.

About a day and a half later I arrived at Bullroarer's Sward. From here on I left the main road to take a secret path over the mountains. It was a harsh road to take but eventually paid off.
I slept that nigh on to of a large hill. I could see lights on the horizon but I was too tired.
The next morning I awoke and walked some more. About an two hours later I arrived at the secret mountain road that would lead me to the main camp. I saw it..... Annuminas....
It laid in dire state indeed.. Banners of Angmar waving in the wind near the front gates. And servants of Angmar guarding it. A despicable sight.

The hardest part was yet to come. I had to lead my dear Aronath and Fang past a dangerous road towards the main camp in Echad Garthadir. I knew this road would be well guarded but it still was safer then taking a stroll through the city itself.
I walked for two hours and faced many enemies. At one point I saw three angmarim warriors guarding the path. I tied Aronath to a tree and ordered Fang to stay with Aronath. I sneaked as close as I could to overhear the three, but they shared nothing worth of knowing to myself. Just bragging about how many of my Kinsmen they have slain.
The first one I took out with an arrow, as did I with the second one. The last one came rushing for me. There was no time so I dropped my and drew my sword. He swung his blade with more skill then the brigands of Bree, but he was far from a match. I struck him down fast and then searched his body to see what he may hold. A map!
That might come in useful later!
I went back to pick up my bow and to get Fang and Aronath.

Finally, I arrived at camp.
I was greeted by many of my kinsmen and they were happy to see me. That feeling was likewise. I set up a tent for myself and went to the officer in charge. He knew why I was coming, to help lead the Dunedain to victory within the city. He showed me all the information they had gathered over the time of the battle. Many plans, maps and locations of camps of the enemy. It pleased me to see we had all this information on our enemy, yet it sadden me we could not do much about it as we did not have the force to lay an attack on their main camps.

Suddenly, out of nowhere there were shouts of combat!
''To the south!'' one of the man shouted, and a group of rangers rushed to the south entrance of the camp I joined them as I thought it was the least I could do.
A group of angmarim scouts had found our stronghold. If they would escape it could mean our doom!
A fight broke out. Some more angmarim rushed in from the side to aid their men but it was in vain.
The skill of these men surprised me for they fought very well. Arrows were shot with high accuracy and they used the tactics you learn in your training very well. I myself relied on my bow skill to help out and with good results.
Eventually they were all slain, and the angmarims that tried to flee were shot in the back.

Darkness has come and the hour that I write this upon is late. I am going to get some sleep.
Its going to be a long day tomorrow....... A very long one......
