"I wonder what else this big lake is hiding..." - Thought Eniredir, as he sat on a small chair at the Scholar Stair in Bree, with a big map set on the table. On the bottom right side it was written "Evendim", and he also had a small book in his hand, a rather rugged but with its letters still legible. He got up and folded the map, holding it with the book under his right arm as he approached the caretaker of the documents there, which he was befriending of late, as Eniredir spent much time studying the books in his care.
"My dear friend, would you mind borrowing me this two documents for studying purposes? You have my word that I will bring them back as soon as possible." The man nodded affirmatively, causing a wide smile to appear in Eniredir's face, and also ten silver coins to come out of his satchel.
As he got out the door with his newly acquired pieces to study, a raven flew down upon him, landing on the steps in front of him. He extended his small claws and there was a letter attached to it, seeming to come from Fiontann. He opened it and read it.
"Eniredir, it is time to prove your worth. Make to the Brandywine Bridge in three hours. Make haste."
As quickly as he could he headed towards the small house he purchased recently, in the small village of Towerglan. He grabbed his shield, gauntlets and boots, ready for battle as he seemed, and with great haste walked down the road towards the Brandywine Bridge. In three hours and a half he sighted the bridge, and Fiontann leaning back on the entrance of it.
Eniredir was surprised to see that he was not required for battle this once, but to deliver a message instead. His job was to make for Meluinen, in the North Downs, and deliver a letter adressed to a person there. He had studied the northern lands before, and knew that Meluinen was a small settlement of Elves there, so he was excited and happy to know about this, and with great honour took the job opportunity willingly. Fiontann handed to him a purse with five gold coins for the expenses of the trip, and right away he used a golden piece to rent a horse from the stables of the city. He started to gather all the provisions he would need for the trip, such as maps, rations...
In two days he would depart.
