A little girl, abandoned as an infant. But why would a parent do that? If a mother's love is the strongest love in mankind, how could a mother abandon her child. Or was it the mom? The brother? The father? Or all of them?

What does it take to force a family to break apart? How can a child cope with that? All Nimeway knows is that she was abandoned and an Elf picked her up from the snow. But is there more to The Mute. What made her eyes green and her hair curly? Where was she even from? Even though she never cared to look into it, there is still a story behind the shy girl.

A small family was set up, a father who lived a hard life, a mother who couldn't remain loyal, a boy who was afraid of his own parents, and a little girl who always had a grin, ignorant of the corruption around her.
