Rescue and a turn of events

After all these days, fighting and spending our time in the cold, sleeping on the snow, feeling our bodies hurt  and cold the time has come to go back home... I went ahead to scout the lands and hunt, while the others were resting, most of them were injured. What I found upon my return I did not expect. It saddened and angered me greatly, and made me think too much of the future.

Some days ago we found Brammy, he was tied in a goblin encampment and with a lot of effort and after passing through enemies, an avalanche and after slaying the pale orc that was leading the goblins we saved him. The whole company was tired so I hunted for that very night and with the first light I ordered them to slowly return to Rivendell, while I would scout and hunt till we get there and even till we leave it. A foolish decision...

I had got as far as the Bruinen Gorges in Trollshaws, making sure that nothing could harm my injured men, I made a path in my mind, which would lead as fast back to Bree and killed a boar. I found a camp outside the Vale, and there they were... Broken and tired... And it came the phrase which filled me with doubts and anger. We cannot enter Rivendell, Lucifen offended the Elves. After all the effort we put a foolish man managed to destroy what we accomplished with some words... To make it worse, days earlier I asked of him to keep his thoughts in his head, the Elves were showing us their hospitality and friendship, and we weren't there to cause trouble. But no, he had to do it. In the first chance that I was away, but where were the others? Why did no one stopped him?

There are three things in my mind now, the first one is to make things right, what he said caused Vendrith and the Grey Warden to lose a home, and caused the rest of us to be deprived of new things, great things. The second is that I'm afraid that I have to deal with children, children that one has to always be close to, or else they will start doing mindless things... The third thought is that I failed to lead them... If that's the case I dare not think what can happen from that once we get back, but I'm close to making my mind on the matter... If one leads people and fails there is only one solution...

But for now I have to make things right, I spoke to some Elves, Tianne, Parnard and Talkale, all was well until Rogue came in the conversation... As always his efforts were to turn all attention on him with great words... He's worse than a noble... After the Elves left he offered me to stay in his camp, the camp he asked me to leave because he made it, now I sit under a tree outside the Vale, it's raining. I need to ask a meeting with a council of the Elves and discuss the matter, two men lost their homes, one of which is injured somewhere in the Vale. The rest of the company saw many great things and now they will be deprived of those. I cannot let that happen, Lucifen will be punished harsh, and from now on even the slightest thing will be punished this way or the other. I'm tired... Too tired...
