Legend of the Dúnedain I

My name is Eradaén, son of Eradan, I am a Ranger of the North, I was born into the bloodline of the Kingdom of Arnor, I am………………….Dunadán.

The Burning of Archet

Trouble seems to follow me round, or is it sheer coincidence that I happened to be in Archet at the time.

As it happens I was on business for my Chieftain, to look into the affairs of my fellow ranger, and friend Amdir. He had been troubled for some time now, an almost evil darkness falling upon him. Aragorn had feared for his sanity, his very life.

If I could do anything at all to save my friend I would do. So I travelled to the small hamlet of Archet which is nestled in the valley between Combe and the Far Chetwood. It would be here I make my stand to protect my friend, to defend the inhabitants of Archet.

What would follow was the burning of an entire village, loss of life, and the disappearance of my friend.

Captain Brackenbrook would pay with his life defending his home, and an unspeakable evil would enter the fray. An enemy of which we have not seen in these lands before.

Now more than ever we must rally, we must rebuild, we must set out to put a stop to this evil. We need to come together as one, under the banner of our Chieftain.
