Rude awakening - Farwell Everlyse.

Blince awoke slowly, and noticed his wife was absent from the bed. He stood, and made his way through. He paused as he noticed the letter upon the table, and then door to the baby's room closed. He then opened the letter, and read through it slowly.

He scruntched the letter, and let off a sigh. His gaze landed upon Toryn, who was just stirring in his bed. He walked over, and easily helped him go back to sleep. Once the child was eased, he turned and made his way around to the fireplace. He began writting his own letter, knowing he only had a vague hope of it reaching her, but he had to.

it read;

''Dear Everlyse,

I know why you've left, and I hold no hard feelings. I will miss you moreso than I can put into words, but I know why we cannot be together. Our paths will pass again, that I promise you. But for now, I wish for you to find someone to be with while you live your life as it was before you met me.

You've made the past year bareable, and helped me out of one of my darkest times.

To my huntress and love,

Farewell."

Blince sent it to the place he found her last when she had to return to these people, and proceeded to raid his liquir store. Feeling better than before, for he had prepared for this.But it was nice to have closure upon this.
