Refusal

Dagramir had been lucky to gain this meeting, using his knowledge, he brokered  a quick deal with Mayrin, and managed to gain an audience with the one and only, 'Bree-town Ripper'... So there he stood, practically face to face with the man he had been hunting for so long... But he hadn't been prepared for what came next...

The 'Ripper' tore at him, with a fake, high-pitched, feminine voice, like nails on a chalkboard. The Viper tried his best to keep his composure, and he did... For the most of it... It was about halfway through their meeting, he had realized his one fatal mistake... He had underestimated him... It was at that point, that the 'Ripper' brought up his name, his occupation, his friends, and the woman he appeared to care for... He said that if Dagramir doesn't do what he says, then one innocent would die each day for his idiocy... Unless, he either killed himself, or killed Jegauer...

The Viper was stunned by this sudden burst of information... He did not know what to do, nor did he have any idea what was right... He couldn't break his morals to do the 'Ripper's bidding, he could not just bow down to his will... So he turned his back, standing in defiance to him, he uttered the words, "I refuse."... To which the 'Ripper' replied, "Very well..."... It was then when Dagramir realized his mistake... He had now put everyone he held dear in danger, all for his own personal beliefs...

Now, more than ever, the Viper needed to find the elusive 'Ripper'... Before anyone got hurt...
