The Way Back Home: Epilogue

What to do know?

There are a lot of things left untold in my story. Like what did I do after this all, and what happened to the Silverguard. In this story I will give you answers to a few of these mysteries.

After my journey to the Iron Hills I got to know my family really well. I also learned (I did not know this before) that we had a tradition of weaponsmiths, and that the talent of the craft "was in my veins", or so they told me. My family asked if I would also join the Silverguard and serve the family. I chose not to, for I was never meant to lead men into battle. And above all I had already found my place. A kinship called Durin's Folk I serve. I got to know these fine dwarrows in Ered Luin, Thorin's Hall, before I left. I am the zokhoso of craftsmanship there.

I stayed with my family for a long while, getting to know them, at last. I also bought a house there. I don't visit it often but I do when I can. A few months later I travelled back to my kinship in Ered Luin. They said I made them proud, with my skill in the craft and just for being there. My family understood why I was leaving again, that they had brought this upon them selves. I left this time I got an escort and an escort with the finest ore and weaponry. The journey back was uneventful and long but I'm back again now.

This was the epilogue of my story.
