You had a rather special visitor today, your father!
I was showing the toads to you in the lily pond in our garden, you enjoy sitting in the water as much as I do. I was quite amazed to see Hardoleth, and he seemed surprised at how much you have grown in 8 weeks.
I placed you in his arms and he held you briefly without an adverse reaction. Your father is not comfortable around infants, but he seemed happy enough to hold you for a short time. It pleases me that we are still friends and that he said he will visit on occasion.
Whoever else may enter into our lives my child, Hardoleth will always be your father and I will always hold love for him and respect his views. He will always have a say in matters concerning you. It is my dearest wish that he will remember that his blood flows through your veins and you are here because of him. But he will do as he pleases, that is something you will come to learn about him, accept his ways, understand his ways and you will see the man I do.
