A Journey of my own

I’ve been reading the reports of the Warband of Imladris and I’ve come across something interesting. In some places in Middle-Earth there are some mysterious relics… strange stones emitting weird substances and causing people to go mad and have strange feelings of dread. One of them can be found in the North Downs… I think I would like to investigate this for myself. I have never heard of anything like it.

The relic is near a burnt down farmstead of a ‘William Peake’. It emits some kind of red substance which can stir anger after a while. Also, it seems to have burnt some people. Well… I will be sure to keep my distance.

A few of the Warband are going South to rescue a woman called Killandra. Lady Elisbeth said I could go with them to help as I am not skilled enough to aid them with destroying the evil in a temple in the Trollshaws, but when I approached Nelnardis she didn’t seem happy to have me along. She told me about all the dangers on the road to Dunland and asked to see how well I can fight.

In the end she told me I would get killed. That it takes me too long to load my crossbow, and my reactions are not nearly good enough to slay one of the southern warriors. So I am going on my own journey to the North Downs to find this ‘relic’. Osilivren took me to the misty mountains once, and the beasts up there are much more fearsome than those around Bree-land.
