Pain

Some days can be just ruff.  Annsuel went to the Pony to hopefully relax and forget all the turmoil she had to deal with a few days before.  She began to talk to someone when Zurich came in, clearly exhausted and worn down from the turmoil's of the past days.  Though she said Annsuel was needed urgently.  Annsuel dropped what she was doing to follow Zurich, Gorward tagging along behind them.  Zurich then explained to the two of an elf who had told her that Lord Gerwolf wanted to wage war once again.

Oh great, another problem.

However, when meeting Gerwolf, the three found that was all a lie.  That the elf was attempting to start fighting.  Not like Indignation has had enough problems as it was.  Though Gerwolf assured the three that he had no desire to fight Indignation.  It had hurt many of his people enough before.  Finally something seemed to be going good for the first time in awhile for Annsuel, but when she turned to leave, she had found Levarris had gotten ahold of Honey and snuck to the back.  Annsuel had not spoken to Levarris in awhile, not since her last meeting with Lord Gerwolf after she ended her relationship with him.

He stood behind Gerwolf's house, Honey purring in his arms.  Honey loved almost anyone, no matter who they were.  Anyways, Annsuel faced Levarris and bluntly asked for Honey back.  But he had other things he wanted to tell Annsuel first.  Making it clear that she had sent him into a void and that she caused his depression.  Pain and guilt filled Annsuel's heart, but no matter how much she loved him deep down inside, she knew they could not have a future.  His words echoed in Annsuel's head as he continued on until Lord Gerwolf came back and freed Annsuel from the torture.  She was finally able to leave with Honey in her arms.

Back to the Pony Annsuel went, were she met Zurich.  The two had been through a lot, both exhausted and wishing for a break.  However, when they went to the back, they found a note on the wall addressed to Harlyn and Zurich.  Then out of nowhere a lady lunged at them and attack.

In the fight, Annsuel managed to get her into a choking hold, cutting off her breathing momentarily before she pushed the girl down.  Annsuel had no want of killing another person, even in self defense.  However, before Annsuel knew it, the girl plunged a dagger into Annsuel, knocking her back.  As the girl went to retreat, she spun around and landed a dagger into Annsuel's shoulder before being stopped by a hooded man. 

Annsuel began to bleed out.  The two confronted eachother.

In the end, Annsuel found out her new enemy was named Marwae, and her new friend was named Arandear.  But no matter how hard Annsuel tries to fight to keep peace with old enemies, she finds new enemies rise up  behind her.  No breaks seemed to be allowed to those in Indignation, even if all they try to do is help others.
