Frithswith is on her way to help out Bori in Moria. It's a cold chill she gets as she rides through the dark halls of Moria. All Friths can hear is the click clack of her goats hooves as she travels along in the darkness of the hall. None to happy is she to be here there is no light in Moria and no heat. She is just outside of the 21st Hall when she looks down and sees a grey green colored snake in her path and it's carrying what looks to be a note. Friths stops her goat and jumps down to grab the note that is attached to it...as she starts to read it she can see the snake slithering off through a crack in the floor. She is called to the kinship house as Lady Iaurmenel is in need for everyone to meet with her. She turns her goat around in the hall and heads back through and rides towards the 21st Hall again to start her way to entrance of Moria...
Now in Bree she heads on the long road to the homesteads...she is wondering what Lady Iaurmenel is wanting to see everyone about? Since loosing her Thoregam she hopes there is news of who may have been the ones that struck him down. As she rides up towards the kinship house she see Cynraede standing outside... he's all cleaned up...this a rare for him she thinks to herself... She walks in just before he does but after they enter she notices his clothes don't have a speck of dirt on them anymore. He even smells of soap...this is nice she thinks...but who is he getting cleaned up for she wonders? Is Fairlain returning soon? Fairlain will be in for a treat to see him spit shined and neat...
As they walk upstairs to meet Lady Iaurmenel the rest of the kinship is also in line walking up to the war room...
Once everyone stops speaking their hello's and greeting one another Lady Iaurmenel starts to speak about Balisan. She says he was taken captive and the people who have him want payment or else...Friths is shocked to hear that another one of our kinship members has been taken. Cynraede was only held in a cave not long ago and he was tortured badly while there...So, far it's been the men that have been taken. Friths shuttered to think who would be next... As she listened to Lady Iaurmenel her voice fades off and Friths goes to deep thought...so many things happening. Thoregam is killed. Cynraede taken captive and now Balisan. It was not long ago she saw everyone in Thorins Hall drinking and chatting to one another about their day. I wish the days were so simple as they were then. As Lady Iaurmenel finishes speaking she asks Friths to stay behind and with the sound of the Lady voice near Friths she shakes off the memories of the kinships happier days.
Lady Iaurmenel has asked Friths to gather together anything that will provide heals for Balisan. Friths heads off in search of a minstrel that is located in Moria. She hears this minstrel can provide Friths more knowledge of her healing abilities. We hope to find Balisan still alive...
