Event: Great Trout Tickle

Location: Northcotton Farm, Oatbarton

Description: Mixed fishing match, divided into trout fishing and coarse (pond) fishing. prizes were awarded for a) First Golden Trout caught, b) Most species of Trout caught c) Greatest number of Trout caught and d) Fullest keep-net (three prizes).

Attendance: Twenty entered the contest. A record attendance for the Angling Club!

The winner of 25 bags of Old Toby pipeweed was Vedoc, with a catch of 5 Weeds.

2. Golden Trout Award

The prize for the first Golden trout caught went to Lina Willowwood.

3. Diversity Award (most species caught)

The Diversity Award went to Lina Willowwood, who caught trout of seven separate species.

4. Tight Lines Award (most trout caught)

The Tight Llines Award went to Lina Willowwood with a catch of eleven trout.

5. Best overall catch
