Dearest one,
I know it has been long since I was able to write down any happiness in my life but since my long journey to Breeland things seemed to 'ave taken a turn for the better. I have met a man by the name of Lord Emion whom I was able to procure a job from as a maid and cook of sorts. I told 'em meself tha' meh last lord hated me cookin' and said it tasted like ash along with various other foul things. He'd hear nothin' of the sort and said he'd put me right. I'm grateful to have found such a kind man to serve. I observed many a noble folk in Bree before 'em and they all seemed horrible in various ways I tell yah.
Met a man by the name of Vem whom seems to have shown particular interest in meself. I keep tellin' meself not to do nothin' 'bout it but...his intentions may be true. Not a bad looker if I say do meself and he did let me stay with 'em the first night in the village. I found the comfort of 'em in the next room to sit well in my mind. Never had a nicer fellow 'round. Many of these Bree men seem to play with lasses hearts though so I should tread more into the matter before sayin' much. He seems like a trust worthy man though....Stop Lynxy.
Anyways, the lady Glorria was wedded today. The service was lovely but I could not help but let my gaze fall on lord Gerwolf. Met 'em the other day. Could strike fear into any mans heart. Don't know why lord Emion chooses to remain close to 'em. I trust me lord so... but I don't trust tha' lord Gerwolf. I saw a man upon the hill overlookin' the after party. Right bad sort he looked. Think I'll call 'em the night rider...tha' red and black stood out. I see darkness in tha' man. Didn't get caught he didn't. I pray that The Lord and lady keep a watchful gaze for tha' man. There's evil folk arising back in Bree. It's rumored many are returning. I hope Vem be alright....didn't see 'em at the celebration. Stop it Lynxy. Why does this man tug so at yer heart...
Lynxy
